Integration with your Shopify store enables you to synchronize your customers list and see their details in Channels whenever you dial his/her number or whenever they call you.
To get started, please head to the Integrations section. There select Shopify and click on ‘Install now’ button. After that you will be redirected to your Shopify page in the new Tab.
In the installation page use ‘Select Store’ button at the bottom and choose the one you’d like to pair with Channels.
Finish the process with ‘Install App’ button! After successful connection you will be greeted with the success screen.
Using Import button will initiate download of your Shopify customers. You can skip this step if you only need new clients to be ported to Channels. You can also resync later, if needed.
The integration works one-way, which means that Channels will receive customer data, but will not update anything in Shopify, due to inability to create call events in Shopify.
Channels will get the following information of the customers from your shop: first name, last name, phone number, email address. Marketing agreement will be visible as contact Tag. Moreover, in Channels you will find the direct link to the customer in Shopify panel. With those information in place you will never get caught off-guard by the customer call. All of their details will be displayed on the call screen!
Once integrated Channels will look for all newly created customers in your Shop. As soon as one can be found, it will get imported and you'll be able to see his details in the Contacts section.
Please note that in order to make import possible the customer needs to have a phone number! Customers without a phone number will not get synchronized!
